From 1997, the story of the recovery of Halifax LW682 from a bog in Belgium. The aircraft crashed on a special mission near the town of Geraardsbergen.  The airmen who passed away were remembered in a special ceremony in 1998. The plane, smashed beyond recognition was melted down into aluminum ingots which were installed into several Bomber Command/RCAF/RAF memorials in Canada, England and the United States.
